Go Server Demo

A small Go web server: it serves this page and its CSS and JavaScript, and has two API endpoints, one of which calls the Open-Meteo weather API.

Current temperature

The browser script app.js calls the Go endpoint /api/weather, which asks Open-Meteo and returns JSON.

Pick a place or enter coordinates, then press Get temperature.

Endpoints

GET / This page, with its CSS and JavaScript (static files)
GET /api/hello Plain text from within the Go server
GET /api/weather?lat=…&lon=… The current temperature as JSON, from Open-Meteo
